The day the Prince's Trust meets its match!

I left Penguin alone on my bed while i wrote out a few emails and turned around to find she had put the majority of my hair clips and flowers etc in her hair. She was like a tree of hair pretties! Penguin always has her hair down so i decided to do her hair today, i put it in a messy rose bun and it looked so adorable, she loved it too! Even becoming super girlie by choosing to wear a flower in it too!
Our cat Bear was sitting on my bed to so we put a few clippy flowers onto her collar - it was adorable! We don't think she liked it as much so they didn't stay!

Today both me and Penguin both had a meeting with a lovely man called Dean from the Prince's Trust in Chatham. Walking out the station we found cones everywhere! Even on top of this statue.
Genius!

On the way we grabbed a McDonald's and stood in our Dani's line. We purposely got Happy Meals to get the little minion toys from Despicable Me 2. We were sooo excited! On the train we found a table seat and made a little picnic complete with little plastic knives and forks. We tried acting all posh and eating our burgers with them but it was too funny and we ended up trying to cut them into stupidly small pieces. The old ladies opposite us looked more than a little worried for our sanities, we gave up caring about that! Who needs sanity anyway.

We did originally plan to meet him at the station and walk back with him as neither of us had been there before. But clever us getting there 40 minutes earlier though we should use our initiative and find our own way there using Google Maps. He said he would wear a massive red lanyard with his name badge on it so we could find him easily. So we walked there staring at everyone to see if they were wearing a red lanyard and catch him on the way. We got all the way there and no lanyard in sight and however much we tried to call him we couldn't get through.
We did manage to find someone there to call him on his private line and pass on the message so all was well! We did the chicken thing and sat outside waiting for him, obviously we passed the time by drawing on minions we had got from our gorgeous Dani at McDonald's :) We gave them french moutashes, converses and Dr Who bow ties - because they are cool. Penguin's one also had a penguin tattoo on it. This is how he found us.
Turns out he wasn't wearing his lanyard while he was walking so we walked right past him... literally... i recognized him from someone we went past. Numpties!

The meeting was very nerving at first and it took a lot for us to walk into a room full of strangers while he grabbed all the paperwork, but we did manage it and sat down in the world's tiniest office! We barely spoke at first and must of looked like rabbits in headlights, and both twiddling at our bracelets like crazy. But he was funny and we had a laugh, everyone seems to love us two and find us bazaarly funny. Unique perhaps... oh definitely!

Hopefully next week we can start the program which includes shopping for camping, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, a three day camping trip with lots of outdoor activities. Lots of team building exercises and skills!

We ended up in McDonald's again for dinner and got another set of minions - purple ones this time and another noisy one - we were in our element! So a day trip out, two McDonald's and two minions later... oh and a drawing mannequin we were ready for home!

The drawing mannequins are strangely fun to play and pose with as you can tell. They are staying with us for a few more adventures yet!

At the train station on the way home we found a pigeon hopping down the stairs. It was so adorable we decided to followed him and tried to make friends but as soon as we got close he flew away, the tried again but he made a hasty escape. Damn him! We were so preoccupied watching him and following him we went down the wrong stairs onto the wrong platform and looked stupid running back up and down the right ones.
